Bird: i have, sort of, written myself into a corner

人工: Uhhuh uhuh uhuh

Bird: i have all these concepts and plot points ive introduced that are kinda just sittin there

人工: Yeah uhuh keep talking

Bird: ...

Bird: uh

Bird: basically, i need a way to connect all the points of my story together so that it feels nice and complete

Bird: because, in its current state, it is a fuckin mess

Bird: i want it to be satisfying

人工: You are being awfully unclear with these descriptions

人工: Why not just let me read through the story?

Bird: NO, FUCK U

Bird: just do something from a distance, u know?

人工: What do you expect me to do with something this vague?

Bird: shit, dude, i dunno

Bird: i thought vagueness was like ur mother tongue

人工: It is

人工: And you are just BARELY on conversational level

人工: What you’re doing right now is the equivalent of repeatedly asking where the restroom is

Bird: WELL, WHERE THE FUCK IS IT, GODDAMMIT???

Bird: HELP A POOR GIRL IN NEED, JOSEPH!!!

人工: Halfin, I am about to drop the most precise directions to the nearest restroom you’ve ever received in your fuckin life

Bird: really??? u actually gained something from that?

人工: ye

人工: Sounds like you’re in dire need of a flashback, my boon companion

Bird: ...

Bird: a flashback? really?

Bird: isnt that a bit cheesy?

人工: NOT AT ALL!

人工: Well...

人工: It can be if you MAKE it cheesy

人工: The thing about flashbacks is they have to feel natural

人工: If you shoehorn a flashback, the reader will know

人工: All flashbacks that feel shoehorned in

人工: Were most definitely shoehorned in

人工: If you are already redirecting the reader’s attention away from the present plotline

人工: Then the information that is to be revealed during a flashback sequence better be the most CRUCIAL SHIT

人工: It needs to flow

人工: One way of doing that, I found, is by perceiving your story in a non-chronological order

人工: For example: instead of basing your flashback on your current story, base the story on the flashback

人工: That way

人工: Every event will feel as though it was meticulously planned all along

Bird: but ive already written most of the story with no flashbacks anywhere

人工: Then craft the flashback out of existing aspects of the plot

人工: Or write the ending first

人工: A good flashback doesnt introduce new concepts

人工: But rather delineates existing ones

人工: Never write your story in a linear fashion

人工: Otherwise, you know no more than the reader

人工: Instead of just writing it from beginning to end

人工: Jump back and forth

人工: Circle in on the climax from all sides like vultures around a bull carcass

人工: And once you have assembled your line of attack from both the end and the beginning of your story

人工: POUNCE ON THAT CLIMAX ALL AT ONCE!

人工: GO FOR THE EYES

人工: GO FOR THE THROAT

人工: GO FOR THE PROSTATE

人工: GO FOR THE EVERYTHING

Bird: uh

人工: And finally...
